The possible nucleosynthetic origins of the Li-7 abundance in nova explosions is discussed. The observation of the 478 keV gamma-ray line emitted as Be-7 decays to Li-7 in the expanding ejecta is shown to provide an opportunity to test this hypothesis as well as nova theory. It is noted that the anticipated flux, 10,000 sq cm/sec at 1 kpc, is within range of the Gamma-Ray Observatory.
