Radio recombination line observations are used to determine the electron temperatures of the H II regions W31C and S206. The data seem to confirm the conclusion of Mezger et al. (1979) that there is very little gradient in the electron temperature of H II regions located at galactocentric distances greater than 9 kpc. Most of the decrease in electron temperature occurs rather abruptly in the region inside 9 kpc.
