Photoelectric photometry in the system defined by Maitzen (1976) was carried out for a sample of 20 population I He-weak and He-strong stars in order to look for the presence of the 5200 A flux depression feature which is typical for cooler magnetic Ap-stars. The majority of the He-weak stars show a modest, but definite enhancement of the photoelectric depression parameter, while the He-rich stars are obviously too hot for exhibiting this feature.
