The progenitors of Type Ia supernovae (SNe Ia) are most likely interacting, low-mass binary systems, which include the white dwarf that explodes and a companion star (either a normal giant, dwarf, or subdwarf star, or another white dwarf) that donates mass to the white dwarf. Identifying the companion in the progenitor system is vital for constraining the various possible progenitor system models. We have been searching the sites of SNe Ia for the surviving companions in deep, high spatial resolution, archival Hubble Space Telescope (HST) images of the host galaxies. So far, no companion has been detected for any SN Ia. However, we attempt to place constraints on the progenitor type based on the image data. In particular, I will discuss the case of SN 1989B in NGC 3627. If time allows, I will also present constraints placed on the progenitor systems via a search for radio emission from SNe Ia.
