The center of our Galaxy is famous for the presence of the supermassive black hole SgrA*. Recently, nearly 100 massive stars have been found in a region of radius < 1pc around this source. These massive stars gather in two well defined disks counter-rotating around SgrA*. The presence of such young stars so close to the black hole, where star formation should not occur, is puzzling: this is the "paradox of youth" of the Galactic Center. Here, we first present near-IR spectra obtained with the integral field spectrograph SINFONI installed on the VLT, from which we make an accurate spectral classification. We then perform a detailed analysis of the stellar and wind properties of these stars using non-LTE atmosphere models including winds and line-blanketing. We find that the most massive stars (M >60 Msun) are absent due to the age of the stellar population. The derived stellar and wind properties are found to be similar to other Galactic massive stars, pointing to a normal formation and evolution. In addition, we show the ionising fluxes predicted by our models are able to explain the ionisation of the gas in the Galactic Center region. Finally, constraints on the initial mass and on the nature of the precursors of six LBV candidates are given.
