Internal Gravity Waves (IGW), such as those that exist in our own atmosphere, surely exist in the solar radiative interior. Such waves have received a great deal of attention recently, both because of their ability to transport angular momentum and because of their observational potential. While these waves have been studied extensively in our own atmosphere, in the Sun they have been studied relatively little. Their existence and propagation in the Sun is probably affected by the magnetic field likely to exist in the tachocline. In this contribution I discuss the interaction of IGW and magnetic fields, looking specifically at how the magnetic field affects the spectrum of IGW produced and their ability to transport angular momentum.
