A method is given for replacing the quasi-canonical coordinates in Jefferys' (1968) theory for strongly perturbed dynamical systems with canonical coordinates. A method of successive approximations is employed. The method has been programmed for the formula-manipulation language Trigman, and its application to a two-degree-of-freedom system is discussed.
