Widefield U band CCD images of the globular cluster Omega Centauri (NGC5139) have been obtained with the Curtis Schmidt telescope at CTIO. We have analyzed these images to look for deviations from perfectly elliptical isophotes. No statistically significant higher order moments have been found: there is no evidence for boxy or disky isophotes with in a radius of 0.33 of the tidal radius. The cluster is very well modelled by concentric ellipses.
