Techniques used to establish reliable positions for X-ray sources from
Ariel 5 rotation-modulation-collimator observations are described. The
determination of positions of weak X-ray sources is also considered.
Positions determined for the sources GX9+9, 4U 1658-48, 4U 1538-52, and
4U 1543-62 are discussed.
