The YY Orionis star S CrA has been monitored for spectral variations on ten nights between July and October 1978. Rapid variations (50 minutes) in the line structure of H-delta are reported. H-alpha consistently shows a Beals Type III P Cygni profile with a blueward absorption component within the wings of the emission profile while the higher Balmer members show variable inverse P Cygni structure. On two of the nights Ca II H and K also show a blueward absorption feature.
