The radio and optical properties of a group of short decimeter wave (1.42 MHz) solar microflares are presented. The event consists of 53 radio fast fine structure (FFS) in a quasi-periodic pulsation train superimposed on the radio continuum emission. Their profiles are all similar except 18 which have double peak structure. They are all with a strength of 150-200 sfu and a duration (half power width) of the order of 15-20 ms. This event takes place in the active region 7646 where two newly emerging groups of small sunspots with complex polarities and multiple reconnection of multiplex cross magnetic loops may occur. We discuss qualitatively the mechanism of the occurrence in this paper and give support to the theoretical model of current loop explosive coalescence.
