We give the results of a detailed kinematic study of the interacting binary system NGC 5953/54 (Arp 91, VV 244, Mrk 1512). The galaxies were observed with the 2.6-m telescope of Byurakan Astrophysical Observatory and the 6-m telescope of the Special Astrophysical Observatory, Russian Academy of Sciences. The heliocentric systematic velocities of the galaxies are 1994 +/- 5 km/sec (NGC 5953) and 1848 +/- 10 km/sec (NGC 5954). We show that the rotation curves of the members of the system are asymmetric and, depending on position angle, demonstrate either an increase or a decrease in radial velocity relative to the circular velocity. We determine the standard kinematic characteristics of members of the binary system.
