Two complexes of emission knots have been discovered near the center of the young cluster NGC 2264. Intensified image dissector scanner spectra of three of these emission knots exhibit line intensities characteristic of Herbig-Haro (HH) objects. In the case of one of these knots, velocities of two condensations were derived from a relatively high-resolution spectrogram. The measured values of +34 km/s and +60 km/s compare with heliocentric velocities of +16.4 km/s for the H II region excited by the early-type main-sequence stars of the cluster, and +22 km/s for the molecular cloud complex located behind the H II region. It appears likely that these knots are HH objects associated with the molecular cloud complex and represent signposts of a star-formation episode triggered by propagation of an ionization front.
