Experiments carried out on the Salyut-1, Cosmos-410, and Cosmos-443 satellites have revealed the presence of particle decomposition products in the detectors of the monitoring equipment. The observations have been carried out using the method of delayed coincidences. The products detected include a meson component and a component thought to be related to the generation of radioactive isootopes within the detectors.
