The results of the first 'Relict' experiment installed on the Prognoz-9 satellite designed to search for the anisotropies of the microwave background radiation are presented, including the results of correlation analysis of the data. The observed anisotropy could be well described by the distribution of the first-order spherical harmonic (a dipole). The observed anisotropy was found to be less than the anisotropy values predicted by modern cosmological models.
