The dynamical evolution of molecular clouds is very complex. Besides thermal pressure, molecular clouds seem to be supported to a large fraction by `turbulent motion'. Observations furthermore reveal a hierarchy of clumps and sub-clumps, indicating complicated structure on all scales accessible by todays telescopes. Here, we present first results from simulations of the dynamical evolution and multiple fragmentation of molecular clouds using smoothed particle hydrodynamics implemented with the special hardware device GRAPE.
