The area of the semicircular supernova remnant (SNR) G 109.1-1.0 has been observed in CO (J = 1-0) and 13CO (J = 1-0) lines. The SNR is found to be in contact with a CO cloud, and it is clear that the existence of the molecular cloud is responsible for the semicircular shape of the SNR. It is found that an armlike CO ridge (=CO arm) shows an apparent anticorrelation with the X-ray distribution: the CO arm appears to be surrounded by the curling X-ray feature called the "X-ray jet". If the CO arm exists in front of the SNR, the X-ray emission would suffer absorption by the CO arm. The molecular column density of the CO arm is found to be large enough to explain the appearance of the "X-ray jet" in terms of absorption. Alternatively, the CO arm may substantially exclude the X-ray emitting hot gas, causing relative depression of the X-ray emission. In either case, the CO arm is an important contributor to the formation of the "X-ray jet" feature.
