In some young open clusters the physical conditions can favor cosmic ray acceleration and density enhancements because of the shocks generated by the interactions of hypersonic stellar winds from peculiar members of the clusters with intercluster medium. Optical spectroscopy and imaging of Berk 87, IC 1805 and Cyg OB2 which lie within the error box of the COS B sources 2CG 75+00, 2CG 135+01 and 2CG 78+01, respectively, support this hypothesis.
