Radio continuum spectra of the Algol-type binary systems, Algol, RZ Cas, HR 5110, TW Dra, V505 Sgr, and RT Lac have been observed at frequencies of 1.49, 5, 8.4, and 14.9 GHz with the VLA. These spectra, which appear similar to those of RS CVn binaries, can be fitted by models of gyrosynchrotron emitting plasma. We show that gyrosynchrotron emission from a compact core and a larger halo fits quite well the observations. The characteristic size of the core and the halo are some fraction of the secondary component and the whole system, respectively. Average values of magnetic fields are estimated to be about 80-100 Gauss for the core and 10-20 Gauss for the halo. The time variability is found to be dominated by changes in the compact components. These results confirm the presence of magnetic activity in the secondary components of Algol systems.
