The altitudinal and latitudinal dependences of the zonal wind velocity for the atmosphere of the northern hemisphere of Venus at latitudes from 67 to 84 deg are determined on the basis of radio transillumination data from the Venera-15 and -16 satellites. In the high latitudes of the northern hemisphere there is a jet with an axis passing at an altitude of about 60 km at a latitude of 73-75 deg; the wind velocity at the axis reaches 100 m/s. The results are compared with data on the zonal wind in the northern hemisphere, which is determined from results of radio transillumination data from the Pioneer-Venus satellite. The spatial-temporal stability of the atmosphere's zonal circulation in the northern and southern hemispheres of the planet are considered.
