Image processing of narrow band IHW filter CCD images obtained for the coma of Comet Halley on April 17-18, 1986 has led to the detection of jet features that are traceable to systematic irregularities in the original images' isophote patterns. While some of the jets were observed only through the C2 and C3 filters, others appeared in all filterings; this finding supports the hypothesized heterogeneity of the nuclear jet sources. The jet features are also in keeping with predictions of geometric characteristics derived from Belton's (1990) nucleus rotation model for Comet Halley.
