We present abundance results from a high-resolution (60,000), high signal-to-noise (SNR = 250) spectroscopic study of G4-36 and BD+80 245, two chemically unusual halo stars. In a survey of 61 metal-poor stars, these two stars were found to be distinct in their extremely low abundances of the alpha-capture elements Ca and Mg, as well as in Ba. However, while BD+80 245 possesses an unusually low titanium to iron ratio, G4-36 displays a slightly higher than average Ti abundance. Abundances for the elements Na, Al, Si, Sc, Cr, Mn, Co, Ni, Zn, Sr, Y, and Eu have also been determined for these two stars. While similarities between these two stars exist, the nucleosynthetic events leading to their abundance profiles are distinctly different from each other and from the average metal-poor halo star. We offer possible enrichment scenarios for these stars.
