A basalt hornfels from the Keweenawan Duluth complex in Minnesota
contains 7 percent by weight of titanium dioxide and is similar in many
respects to the Apollo 11 samples. Hornfels texture, as well as primary
textures in lunar rocks, resemble those in Keweenawan rocks.
