For the estimation of relative stellar masses in globular clusters, a method is proposed that is based on the comparison of statistical mean distances (obtained with the aid of numerical experiments) of stars of various masses from the cluster center with corresponding observation values. For illustration, the method is applied to three globular and two open star clusters. The results indicate a close dependence between stellar masses and their luminosities in all the cases considered.
