Accurate well-sampled light curves for seven short-period type-II Cepheid candidates are presented. It is demonstrated that CM UMa has a period of 0.589 and is an RRab star. The results show that CE Her and XX Vir are both type I Cepheids with excess scatter and rapid variations during declining light. BB Gem is found to be the shortest-period fundamental pulsator of the known Galactic classical Cepheids.
