Observations of the minor planets 1 Ceres and 2 Pallas are presented, as performed with the VLA during May and December 1981. At a distance of 2.8 AU, 1 Ceres measured flux densities were 348 + or - 35 micro Jy at 6 cm (May 18, 1981) and 3720 + or - 370 micro Jy at 2 cm (May 19, 1981); at a distance of 2.9 AU, the minor planet measured flux density was 356 + or - 36 micro Jy at 6 cm (Dec. 26, 1981). Two Pallas flux density measurements at 2.2 AU on Dec. 29, 1981 was 320 + or - 32 micro Jy. It appears that the brightness temperature of 1 Ceres is lower than expected for a rapidly rotating blackbody (based on currently accepted diameters) and that of 2 Pallas is near the expected value. In addition, it is indicated by the observed temperature that the diameter of 1 Ceres is 818 + or - 82 km. Finally, 1 Ceres position was found to deviate from the predicted optical position by - 0.3 sec + or - 0.1 sec, and the 2 Pallas deviation was found to be 0.8 sec + or - 0.1 sec.
