The run of the photoelectric minimum time residuals of TW Draconis is interpreted in terms of light time effect caused by the presence of additional components. While the ephemeris based on the period of 2.806847 days due to Tremko and Kreiner (1981) would indicate a quintet system, a new ephemeris based on a period of 2.80685833 days gives a simple triple system. The former is found to be unstable according to the empirical stability criteria for hierarchical systems. It is therefore concluded that TW Dra is most probably a triple system with a third component of mass between 0.71 and 0.84 solar masses for i greater than 60 deg.
