The explanation of the large-scale structure of the Universe is the most fascinating challenge of modern cosmology. Recent observations have improved our knowledge of this field dramatically. The authors present new numerical simulations of large-scale structure formation and show the influence of different cosmological models on the simulations. The results are compared with the objects seen in the Hubble Deep Field.
