The diagnostic capabilities of the free oscillation method for probing the peculiarities of the Martian crust structure are discussed. A few detailed models of Martian crust are used. They differ by the bulk compositions of the Martian basalts MK1 and MK2 and crustal temperature distributions with the gradients 21, 13 and 6 K km-1. For all these models the periods of the spheroidal and torsional oscillations forn = 20-10,000 are calculated. Dispersion curves for Rayleigh and Love waves are constructed, which identify well the structure of the crust.
