A method for searching new possible planetary nebulae among the unidentified sources of the IRAS Point Source Catalog is described. Sources were selected according to their far infrared colours, proximity to galactic equator, and quality of the IRAS detection. A catalogue of 388 new possible planetary nebulae is presented and the properties of the selected sample are discussed.
