Compact galaxy groups contain galaxies of all morphologies which are likely to have had repeated interactions among themselves during their lifetimes and can provide us with insights into the role of morphology in generating activity in their nuclei. This paper is a discussion of the results of a continuing study of the radio continuum and molecular lines from the Hickson Compact Groups in order to understand the effects of morphology in the outcome of interactions in these groups.
