The mean velocities of the stars in 58 globular clusters are derived from the photometric measurements of Kron and Mayall (1960). The mass-visual brightness ratiomathfrak{M}/H = 0.935 mathfrak{M}_ odot /H_ odot is used. The velocities are falling in the interval 2.9⩽v⩽11.6 km s-1, their mean value is 6.75 km s-1.
