We have analysed eclipse data on Z Cha over the period 1972-81, and have
found that the times of white dwarf eclipse can no longer be represented
by a linear ephemeris. A quadratic fit to the data implies an evolution
time-scale P/Pdot = 9.6 × 106 yr.
