Plasma horizons (boundaries of regions in which an infinitely thin plasma can be supported against Coulomb attraction by a magnetic field) around black holes are mapped. A covariant definition of the plasma horizon concept is developed. Plasma horizons around a charged nonrotating black hole (Reisser-Nordstrom hole) embedded in an asymptotically uniform magnetic field are mapped for a range of magnetic field strengths. Plasma horizons around a charged rotating black hole and around a Kerr-Newman hole (with magnetic dipole lined up with the external field) are discussed, along with the oppositely charged current ring around a charged hole in the equatorial plane of the hole.
