During the period from June 18 to June 22, 1974, a test was conducted by NASA and a group of radio observatories to determine the interference caused by the ATS-6 TV channel in the frequency band from 2690 to 2700 MHz. A description of the equipment used in the test is presented. Attention is given to aspects of calibration, details regarding the observations, the deconvolution of the received spectrum, and the interference levels.
