Galactic Structure Studies involve the analysis of multi-color data and their comparison with sophisticated Galactic model. In this poster, we use the SDSS commissioning data to derive a self-consistent model of the Galaxy. We show that multivariate statistical methods are very powerful to handle SDSS data. The real star distribution from SDSS is compared with the predictions of stellar population models in the 5-dimensional space of observables, and the ability of various Galaxy models to represent the data is fully tested. Finally, we constrain the main galactic structure parameters and derive the relative densities of different components and populations in the Milky Way.
