The line content of the ultraviolet spectrum of Upsilon Sagittarii is presented in the range λλ2025-2190 and 2830-3220 (BUSS spectrum) and in the range λλ1350-2550 (S2/68 spectrum). The possible spectral type of the secondary according to the 52/68 data is discussed. Stellar radii and masses are derived for both components of the system. It is shown that 90% of the matter expelled during the Roche lobe overflow phase of the primary has left the system. Observations and evolutionary computations indicate case C evolution.
