A model of the gravitational field of a galaxy consisting of an infinitely thin disk submerged in a halo is examined. In a particular case, expressions are obtained for the halo and disk densities and for the integral mass characteristics. It is shown that there exists a mutually unique relationship between the disk mass and halo oblateness. The full mass of the system is approximately proportional to the central potential and the distance corresponding to maximum circular velocity.
