Observations of SN 1985f obtained with the 40-cm astrograph and 70-cm reflector of the Shternberg Astronomical Institute at Moscow are examined. The B,V magnitude of the star is studied and compared with the magnitudes of other supernovae. Analysis of the SN 1985f light curve reveals that the point of maximum light was 12.1 mag + or - 0.1 mag on June 12, 1984, and the curve resembles that of type 1 supernovae, in particular 1962l, 1963j, and 1976b. The absolute magnitude of the star was calculated as ranging from -17.6 to -19.1 mag.
