The differential energy spectrum of cosmic-ray neutrinos in the atmosphere (composed of muon-neutrinos and electron-neutrinos) is calculated on the basis of a recently-proposed realistic collision model as well as experimental results on the primary spectrum in which the contribution of a prompt neutrino is taken into account. For the horizontal direction, the prompt muon-neutrino intensity exceeds that of muon-neutrinos from conventional processes at a neutrino energy of 1 million GeV; moreover, the prompt electron-neutrino intensity exceeds that of electron-neutrinos from conventional processes at an energy of 100,000 GeV. The corresponding values for the vertical direction are 100,000 GeV and 10,000 GeV, respectively.
