Scientific paper

Models of interstellar clouds maintained in equilibrium by turbulent pressure with known radial distribution are examined. Equations of model internal structure are derived, and their solutions are analyzed. It is demonstrated that these models are consistent with the observed parameters and structure of interstellar clouds for the entire mass range. The properties of giant molecular clouds and superclouds are investigated. It is demonstrated that four physical parameters define the structure and evolutionary state of interstellar clouds.
