Scientific paper

The stability of an electron beam in solar plasma is considered. It is shown that the condition of Cherenkov resonance is fulfilled for slow non-ordinary waves for mean values of magnetic field B, plasma concentration n and mean beam velocity v ≡ 0.3 c. The stabilization of electron beam occurs due to the process of induced scattering of plasmons on thermal electrons. The stabilization occurs nonsimultaneously for electrons with various energies. Time delay estimations coincide with experimental ones.
