Several statistical tests are used to demonstrate the existence of bound companions in the Virgo Cluster, estimates their average density, search for variations with morphological type, luminosity, and position in the cluster, and examine the properties of those galaxies found to be companions. The mean density of companions within 80 kpc of galaxies brighter than M(B)(T) = - 19 in the cluster appears to be about a factor of three smaller than in the field, and varies with luminosity. More luminous galaxies have more companions, as expected from a simple estimate of tidal stripping in the cluster. The mean surface brightnesses of galaxies that are likely to be companions of a close neighbor are on average about 0.3 magnitudes higher than those of the free-floating cluster population.
