Light curves of 51 Nemausa were obtained during 5 nights in 1989. It is
found that the shape of the light curves of the asteroid is strongly
dependent on the phase angle. The maximum amplitude increases from 0.11
to 13 m as the phase angle increases from 5.4 to 26.5 deg. The mean
value of the phase coefficient is 0.045 magnitude/deg.
