The study shows the stability of the thin layer of the ISM embedded in
the magnetic field in the presence of a homogeneous perpendicular
gravitation field or subjected to self-gravitation. The full energy
minimum in both cases under consideration corresponds to the equilibrium
configuration of the layer.
