The multidimensional or multifractal formalism has been applied to analyze the CfA catalog. The spectrum of scaling indices and the generalized dimensions D(q) have been found to be scale-invariant in certain scaling regions. This invariance means that the multidimensional formalism is a good tool to characterize galaxy distributions. By means of this formalism it has been found that CfA galaxies brighter than about M(c) = -20(H0 = 100 km/s/Mpc) are most clustered than fainter galaxies.
