A technique is proposed to verify cosmological hypotheses by searching for breaks in the gamma-ray spectra of extragalactic objects at extremely high energies of 10 to the 12th - 10 to the 14th eV. The possibility of confirming the Big Bang theory by observing the interaction of gamma quanta with relic radiation is examined in detail. Some methods of observing the interaction in the ultrahigh energy spectra of extragalactic objects with redshifts z(0) less than 1 are described.
