Johnson V band and Stromgren uvby-beta photoelectric photometry of HR 5437 were performed in 1989 and 1991. By using Fourier periodograms and a convergent least-squares analysis, 196 V band measurements of seven nights obtained during April 2-21, 1991 are analyzed. The main pulsational frequency of HR 5437 is found to be 11.38993 cycle/d. This frequency, combined with another frequency 8.5367 cycle/d found by Paparo et al. (1990) suggest that HR 5437 is a radial-pulsation beta-Scuti variable star in the fundamental and first overtone modes.
