Results of two-color photoelectric observations of Pluto made during 1986-1990 are described. A decrease in the color index of this planet was detected in 1990. Pluto's albedo (at least in blue rays) reached a minimum in 1988. This finding is not in agreement with the view of Buie and Fink (1987) and Stern et al. (1988), which explains Pluto's mean brightness decrease by changes in physical conditions on its surface, namely, ice sublimation, which may occur as a result of changes in the distance between Pluto and the sun.
