An investigation is made of the problem of finding optimal times of measurements with correlated errors. The structure of the covariant measurement error matrix is assumed known. A combination of methods is proposed that permit the solution of the problem. An optimal program of measurements is given for the case of a determination of the orbit of an artificial Mars satellite for various correlation coefficients. The effect of correlation on the accuracy of the determination of trajectory parameters is studied.
